Can I get a Coach purse restored if I didnt buy it myself?
I found a small coach purse in a box that the previous tenants left behind. It looks authentic with a serial number on the inside and a Coach tag (not a price tag) on the outside. It is looks a little worn but still in good shape. I have heard that if you send it off to Coach they will restore it for you (for a price). Do I need to show proof that I paid for it? Will they do it for me if I didnt buy it myself?
Yes, coach does offer repairs to bags but they do not clean them. You do not need to provide proof of purchase nor registration. Registration cards are no longer given with coach products and registering with them is only a way for them to get you on their mailing list. If asked, just tell them it was a gift, or the truth that it was left behind by a previous tenant. I would first try to authenticate the purse by either taking it to a coach store or by reviewing the coach authenticating guides on ebelle5.com.Once you have authenticated it you can send it to coach in new york with $20 for return mail.
