Black, as a very unpredictable color, comes with lots of problems and issues attached to it. Even when it comes to the fashion world, black can mean lots of different things.
Some people feel that black handbags are just for “emos”. Well, that word itself isn’t right to start with. Then again, the modern society carries a lot of baggage, and we tend to unleash our inner hardships towards certain groups. The use of black handbags by emo’s just shows their affection towards the black color, and carrying a black handbag yourself would never get you confused with an emo.
Many teens are used to the white and black color or a combination of the two. Black handbags are hugely popular amongst all women as well. So, the notion that a black handbag is connected to “emos” is totally wrong. Being “emo” (as in emotional) simply refers to a person who is deeply saddened and lost within his or her thoughts. Thus, it is true that such personalities prefer darker colors and more specifically black.
Black handbags are also popular and common in the Middle East and the Eastern countries. In fact, black handbags are even more popular in the East then the West. This is basically the reason why all China made handbags are one of black, brown or white. Many brands also produce black handbag lines dedicated to a certain celebrity or a group. On top of that, many celebrities also have their own range of handbags.
The popularity of black handbags really makes them stand out in the crowded fashion world. So, the use of words such as ‘emo’ to describe the personalities of such fashion savvy and accessories lovers is a total misconception! Let’s keep those characterizations aside, at least when it comes to clothing, handbags or fashion in general. So, go ahead and go all out black without any worries. Who cares about what others think as long as we believe that what we are wearing works, right?
