do you think my head football coach is to soft?
ok me and my head coach are friends. we coach middle school football and I am an assistant. i have noticed this year and years past one thing he lacks is being more stern with these kids. I am not mean but when they walk on the field, walk on the field still dressing,and when we tell em not to hit hard sometimes in practice it shows in games. I try to be more hard on em than him but i am fair. i believe if you dont have discipline it shows in games. you agree?
You play like you practice. It’s true at any level of football from pee-wee leagues on up. That’s what the best coaches I ever had always said, and it was 100% true on the field on game days.
I’d suggest that you ask your friend to try it your way for a week or two and see if the dicipline and intensity you want in practice transfers over to the field in the games. I bet it will.
