In 2005, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of this bag, Karl Lagerfeld revived the original design, this well-known reissue, however, has the original Mademoiselle lock and an all chain handle rather than the two intertwined Cs, and the reissue proved even more popular than its original. Therefore, bags with two intertwined Cs are known as Classic Flaps.
