key fob ???
have a Bmw 320i SE K reg and I have only one key fob to gain entry to my car – its a complete key fob so I cannot just change my battery where do I get a spare one from and how much is this likely to cost me? ( I am in Manchester in the UK )

If you want a replacement key, you will need to go to the dealer. There is no other way to get a new key since these keys are laser cut and there is a coded microchip embedded inside of the fob part of they key. I’ve heard quotes from $150 to $250 USD per key.
However, if your battery is just dead, you can actually change it if you have a steady hand. Follow the link below for the DIY.
