Boucheron has a 150 years legacy in designing precious gems, jewelry, watches and perfumes. Boucheron is known for its rich and high quality creations. It was founded by Frederic Boucheron in 1858. He was considered a pioneer among jewelers. He was also the first to create a wrist watch with engraved diamonds. Boucheron launched its signature perfume in 1989. Boucheron for Women is a symbol of splendor, tradition and elegance. This classic floral oriental fragrance was inspired by the art of Parisian goldsmiths from Place Vendome. The bottle is shaped like a ring. The basic notes in this fragrance are of sweet floral, fruity and spicy notes.

Boucheron for Men was launched in 1991. It has a citrus aromatic fragrance with top notes of orange, lavender, mandarin orange, basil, lemon verbena, bergamot and lemon. The middle notes are carnation, orris root, jasmine, ylang-ylang, lily-of-the-valley and rose while the base notes are sandalwood, Tonka bean, amber, musk, benzoin, oakmoss, vetiver and incense. This is undoubtedly a very classy, tasteful and elegant men’s fragrance of all time.

Another legendary and exotic feminine perfume by Boucheron was launched in 1994. It was called Jaipur. Its bottle is shaped as a bracelet which is considered lucky in Rajasthan. Jaipur is truly mystic and enchanting and gives you the wonderful oriental fragrance. It starts with sweet notes of juicy plum, apricot, peach and a hint of violet. The heart notes are fresh floral accords of rose, locust-tree, heliotrope and peony with base notes are sensual, powdery, gentle accords of iris, white musk and sandalwood.

Jaipur Homme for Men was released in 1998. It is an oriental spicy fragrance with top notes of lime, bergamot, cardamom and lemon. The middle notes are carnation, cinnamon, jasmine and roes while the base notes are Tonka bean, patchouli, benzoin and cedar. This is a purely sophisticated fragrance for men. Men with an affinity for oriental fragrances must try Jaipur Homme. It’s a must have for men!

Boucheron’s latest fragrances were launched in 2008. They include B, Boucheron Homme Eau de Toilette Fraicheur, and Miss Boucheron Jeweler Edition. B for women was launched to celebrate the 150th anniversary of jewelry creation and 20th anniversary of perfume creations by the house of Boucheron.

Miss Boucheron Jeweler Edition- Miss Boucheron Eau de Parfum is a continuation of the Miss Boucheron, romantic pink beauty which was launched in 2007. The opening notes of this edition are Calabrian bergamot, pomegranate and pink pepper with heart notes of rose, lily-of-the-valley and cyclamen and base notes of sensuous musk. It is a delicate and subtle perfume but lasts for a long time.

Even after 150 years Boucheron is standing shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the most famous perfume makers. Boucheron has evolved in time and has been a shining example to all the new players in the fragrance industry.
