How do I know whether the Coach “Crescent” bag I bought on ebay is authentic/vintage?
The bag appears to be the “Crescent” style (# 9235 I think), designed by the late Bonnie Cashin, in a camel color. It bears the embossed Coach logo on the inside and on the hangtag, and it is unlined with no inside pocket. From what I’ve read online, Coach didn’t start embossing the creed on their bags until the 1970′s, and didn’t incorporate serial numbers until even later. If this is true, does that mean the bag may be vintage? Or, did Coach reissue this style later and not incorporate the creed and/or serial numbers into it? Bottom line, how can I tell if this is an authentic Coach bag? Thanks to anyone who can help.
go to a coach retail store and ask them. or Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, ect. you should find out what u want. :]
